Age:
He/She was born not earlier than 2nd January 1976 and not later than 1st January 2000.
Note: The upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 5 years in case of in-service Doctors service on an ad hoc basis or Contractual basis under the Govt. or Govt. undertakings.
Educational Qualification:
The candidates possess DM/M.Ch. degree in the concerned discipline from MCI/NMC permitted
or approved or recognized Medical College and/or any other academic qualification with such additional teaching experience in the subject as may be prescribed by MCI/NMC from time to time in force.
Where, the DM/M.Ch. is of two years duration or of five years recognized course after MBBS, one-year teaching and, or research experience in a recognized institution in the concerned subject are also eligible for the post of Assistant Professor subject to fulfilling of any other criteria regarding Diplomate National Board, prescribed by MCI/NMC from time to time in force.

Examination Fee:
A candidate is required to pay the non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs.500/-(Rupees Five Hundred) only.
Mode of Selection:
- Written Test of Total 200 Marks.
- 200 MCQs
- Negative Marking of 0.25 Marks for the wrong answer.
- Duration of Examination: 3 hrs
- Qualifying marks shall be as decided by the commission.

- HSC or equivalent certificate
- MBBS certificate and mark sheet
- Hoseman-ship Completion Certificate
